What we do

We do everything required for the burial from the time the deceased arrives at the wood. We prepare the grave, supervise the burial and restore the plot afterwards.

We allow plenty of space for each grave and you get a map showing your plot. Boduan Sanctuary Wood is owned by the charity and can never be clear-felled or resold – this is written into the Land Registry record. It will remain beautiful and peaceful as long as trees continue to grow.

Larger areas can be reserved, you can pre-book a double or family plot and if you have pets they can be buried there too. We also have a Baby Grove.

We are not funeral directors. If you are organising a burial, you can phone us and we can help you either to find a suitable funeral director or assist you in organising the burial yourself. If you already have a funeral director, please ask him/her to contact us.
