Julia Everitt Manager

I first visited the wood in 2016 to scatter my father’s ashes and plant an elm tree in his memory. I remember how thrilled I was when a buzzard flew overhead and let out its distinctive cry. I moved to Pwllheli later that year and visited the wood often to play music and help as a volunteer, mainly removing brambles. Within a couple of years, I was helping at funerals when needed and in 2020 started helping with the office work.

I have been the manager since 2022 and will endeavour to keep the Eternal Forest a popular public amenity that supports and is supported by the community, which makes The Eternal Forest so special. The wood brings comfort to so many when they are grieving, and it really is an honour to work in such a beautiful place.
